Welcome to the Whisperers of the wind sword web site. Who are we: We were once an active family-oriented EverQuest guild on the Stromm server, but dwindling server populations and the difficulty of the Underfoot expansion took a heavy toll on us. The server merger with Luclin saw a temporary return of a few members, but by the time the House of Thule expansion was about to launch, only 2 active mains remained. The Thule launch brought back a few members, but not enough to sustain healthy growth. Subsequently, all active mains joined Destructive Travelers, a fellow NCG guild. Alts are welcome to remain in Wws. Returning mains are encouraged to join us in Destructive Travellers.
Our Goals: The main goal is to have FUN playing EQ in an environment where all members can reach level 85.

Our guild was an active member of the Norrathian Council of Guilds, Stromm's strongest Guild Council, and also the Companions Guild Alliance, which was composed of several of the smaller NCG-member guilds. Our membership in the NCG and CGA allowed us the opportunity to participate in raids and events that would be difficult or impossible for most family-style guilds to accomplish on their own. We raided, grouped, and chatted regularly with the fine members of the NCG and CGA. Alts that remain in Wws are welcome to continue participating with the NCG and CGA.
